Our youth ministry team is all about mentoring high school teens to be better disciples of Jesus Christ. We walk with them on their journey, focusing on continual conversion in hearing God's voice in prayer, following the promptings of the Holy Spirit, and knowing their identity as beloved children of the Father.

What we do
We operate on the relational model of youth ministry, focusing firstly on forming connections with the teens. Once a relationship of trust has been formed, they are open to receive the Gospel, learn to hear God's voice in prayer, and understand the teachings of the Church.
Since this is our model, we spend a lot of time playing games, eating together, and hanging out. Some of our activities include playing games like rock band, ultimate frisbee, codenames, mafia, foursquare, dodgeball, and much more. We also have events like our annual lock-in where we have humans vs. zombies nerf battles,
and our Spring Retreat at a summer camp.
While we like to have fun, youth group is not just a social time. Our ultimate aim is to draw the teens closer to Jesus. To accomplish this, we regularly spend time doing praise and worship, learning to discern God speaking in prayer, praying for healing (and sometimes seeing it happen!), explaining Church teachings, and having discussions about Scripture. We like to dive deeply into wherever the Holy Spirit is leading.

Where & when
Our youth group meets every Tuesday at St. Therese Church from 6:30 to 8:30. During the school year, we also meet on Sundays at the same location, from 5:00 to 7:30 with food provided.
